Traditional dentistry often focuses on treating problems one tooth at a time. A cavity is filled. A broken tooth is crowned. A missing tooth is replaced.
While that approach may restore a tooth in the moment, it often fails to address the bigger picture — why the problem developed, how it affects the rest of the mouth and body, and what is needed for long-term stability.
At Siegert Dental, we take a more comprehensive view. We look beyond isolated symptoms to understand the full story: how your bite functions, how your muscles and joints are working, how airway and sleep may be involved, and how your oral health impacts your overall well-being.
4 Key Differences:
Root-Cause Dentistry
We do not just treat what is visible. We work to understand why concerns develop and how to create healthier, more stable outcomes.
Airway-Centered Thinking
Breathing, sleep, facial development, and oral health are deeply connected. Our care reflects that.
Advanced Diagnostics
We use modern technology and in-depth evaluation to better understand each patient’s needs.
Personalized Care
No rushed, one-size-fits-all treatment plans. We take the time to educate, guide, and build trust.

Dr. Jake and his wife Kathryn are both natives of the Coulee Region, they met at Onalaska High School. It had always been his dream to practice and raise a family in our great little river town.
He stays very active with his two sports loving sons, James (10) and Henry (7); as well as chasing his Toddler Vivian. The family wanted to create a little balance in the household, so recently they added Nora the Golden Retriever to ensure the girls had fair representation.
In his spare time Dr. Jake enjoys boating, waterskiing, golfing, hunting, and Men's League hockey. Siegert Dental is the proud sponsor of the Tornado Youth Hockey team in Onalaska, where both of his sons play (with all their teeth intact).
